Shoot the Rapids
About Shoot the Rapids This is one wet adventure that you'll never forget!
The Intamin-built ride will take you up and then down two monstrous hills, and give you a tour of an illegal moonshine operation! Shoot the Rapids was named after the past Cedar Point flume of the same name, which was opened in 1967 and was closed in 1981. The ride is also the first log flume-type ride to appear in the park since the destruction of White Water Landing in 2005. How wet you will become on this ride is quite unpredictable: some people may be drenched while others will be completely dry. Just be prepared for anything while on the ride, and make sure to empty your pockets of any electronic devices and valuables! You can enter Shoot the Rapids from the Frontier Trail near Gristmill Refreshments and Snake River Falls, and experience the thrill for yourself! Details on Shoot the RapidsOpened: 2010
