Raptor
About Raptor Kick the Sky; Rule the Sky; Own the Sky on Raptor.
Raptor was designed by Werner Stengel, like many other roller coasters, and was manufactured by Bolliger & Mabillard, a roller coaster giant that created the roller coaster innovation known as the inverted roller coaster. On Raptor, you will be lifted 137 feet, and will be dropped 119 feet, before flying around the ride's giant 100-foot tall vertical loop. It also features the world's first cobra-roll inversion. Raptor soars at speeds up 57 miles per hour. Raptor has a total length of 3,790 feet of track. Raptor opened as the world's tallest and fastest inverted roller coaster in the world when it debuted in 1994. It was also one of the first inverted roller coasters to be built. The ride's cobra roll was the first of its kind. Raptor is located at the front of the park, flying beside the Main Midway and over the Turnpike and Cadillac Cars. Details on RaptorOpened: 1994
