I spent roughly five hours in the park yesterday, but mainly to take pictures! To the right are some pretty good pictures I got yesterday! (Yes, that is the Schwabinchen lady! The woodcrafter on the Frontier Trail makes replicas of her in various sizes.)
I also went through Dinosaurs Alive! (You can see pictures of that on the Dinosaurs Alive! page, which will be live later on today.) I will admit, I was not excited at all to go through it in the beginning, but as we enter Adventure Island, I realized something: it didn't turn out crappy.  All of the dinosaurs and the surroundings actually looked realistic! It was an amazing experience.  Of course, the exhibit will be the most exciting to the kids that are going through that dinosaur-obsession phase.
I did manage to hop on one coaster yesterday, which was Gemini. The ride was amazing as always, but the trains weren't completed yet: There weren't any stripes or decals on the sides of the train, which upset me, because the trains look horrible without the decals.
So, check back here on Point Place, plus our Facebook page throughout the day to see all of the pictures from yesterday's trip!

I am the webmaster and lone blogger for Point Place.  I started the Unofficial Cedar Point Blog on September 11, 2010, and it was hosted through Blogger.  In February 2012, the blog was transferred to Weebly, and was transformed into Point Place.  I enjoy going to and researching Cedar Point, taking care of my dog, Rosco, and listening to Lady Gaga and collecting Lady Gaga items.  I'm glad to serve as one of few Cedar Point bloggers around.
